Designed by Super Normal, Huai An CANAL ONE is located by the ancient canal side. Inspired by the never-ending canal water, the design addresses an intimate connection between the space and water, take water as a metaphorical reference to echo the old story of this ancient and magical land. This space evokes the inspiration in form as well as the formless, in between the reality and imagination, we explore multifaceted life styles and possibilities through this design and transform it from sales center to community center.
The character of water lies in moving and motionlessness. Inspired by the never-ending canal water, we explore the possibility of creating a multifunctional and flexible community public space for future. With the poetic imagcry of water, Huai 'An CANAL ONE is no longer a sales center but represents the perfect fusion among the creative and aesthetic legacy of future forms of community lifestyle.
“Great truths are always simple.”—This is more than a design philosophy but the nature of quality life. We transform the design from addition to subtraction by adopting the method of using clean, soft lines for ultimate visual experience. Community center on 2nd floor is a hyperspace with the fluent lines running like a wave. With expansive space, it provides the possibilities for reading, relaxation, communication and different activities. Balancing charm and liveability, it was essential to realize better connection between people by our design.
