Nature is an indispensable part of children's spiritual world. A scratch of mud, a handful of sand, a pond, a plant, and an insect can all bring children a magical, profound and irreplaceable experience. Based on this, Jiading Kindergarten intends to build a forest kindergarten, allowing children to ask, think, discuss and obtain answers in the forest through "playing", "observing" and "practice".
The project building consists of four parts, which are divided into two teaching buildings, an administrative building in the front hall, and a multifunctional room located on the ground floor. The multiple functional areas are connected in series by a large amount of activity spaces such as mini golf, forest theme climbing area, orchard, ecological planting area, ceramic art and wood workshop, and water platform.
In the front hall of the kindergarten, we made three-sided floor-to-ceiling glass windows, just like putting a transparent box in the forest, leaving the line of sight aside, making this space a very clear line of sight, as if you are in the middle of nature. A beautiful scene.
The multifunctional room is hidden underground and connected to the ground by a green step.
The steps lead to the multifunctional room, creating a side view at the end of the aisle in the multifunctional room and the corner of the functional classroom, which not only satisfies the full natural lighting in the room, but also provides a place for children to touch and feel the nature and also enjoy this An activity place where Xiao Duan Jing can enjoy games.
When the concept of forest was introduced in the project, it was associated with a wooden house, and the style or color of the wooden house and wooden materials were used. The form of the wooden house was used to create multiple reading areas in the teaching area; because unlike steel or reinforced concrete, wood and steel The color of wood can give people a warm sensory feeling. Therefore, warm wood materials and colors have been throughout the entire design, which is more in line with our original intention of wishing children to be more exposed to nature in the park.
